It was a rare moment for an endangered species when Yasha, a Siberian Tiger, met his beautiful new cubs for the first time at the Tierpark Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, Germany on Thursday. Cubs Anushka, Dasha, Mischka and Vitali were born on June 15, 2017 - the first litter born at the zoo in 15 years. Their mother, Maruschka, was born at the Novosibirsk zoo in Siberia in 2011 and met the cubs' father Yasha at Hagenbeck. Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared to share a few jokes while waiting to begin their official bilateral meeting in Osaka on Friday. In comments caught by the camera, Trump appears to joke about the media, saying "I think there might be some media out here, what do you think? Do you think there might be a couple of cameras?" He then also seemed to say that Putin’s term as president was going well, saying "Great term isn't it? You don't have problems, we have, you haven't." “We have them too. The same,” Putin assures his American counterpart in both Russian and English. The two leaders then decide who should begin the meeting, with Trump referring to Putin affectionately as “Vlad” and proceeding to say “Do you want me to start, should I start? Do you wanna start?" The light-hearted exchange concludes with Trump appearing to say "It's like the Academy Awards, stupid." UN: "We are not gays" - Mugabe shocks the UN General Assembly

"We are not gays," President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe told the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Monday. "We reject attempts to prescribe new rights that are contrary to our values, norms, traditions and beliefs," he said. The comment drew gasps and laughter from the delegates. However, Mugabe - who led the militant Zimbabwe Afircan National Union against white minority rule in Rhodesia the 1960s and 1970s - also drew applause from the audience after he reiterated his nation's "unwavering" support towards the Palestinian people as well as his condemnation of "destabilisation" policies from outside powers in the Middle East. Discussing the ongoing tragedy in the Mediterranean, the "tragic situation could have been avoided through the respect of the independence of other countries and non-interference in internal affairs," the 91-year-old Zimbabwean leader added. Iran: 'Honest negotiations are unlikely for Trump' - Khamenei meets with Shinzo Abe

01:58
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said there was no point in replying to a message from US President Donald Trump, while meeting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tehran on Thursday. Abe's visit to Iran is the first made by a Japanese leader after the Islamic Revolution in 1979, and an attempt to ease tensions between Tehran and Washington. The Iranian Supreme Leader also said he did not believe Trump's willingness for a "honest negotiation" with Iran or his promise not to seek regime change in Iran: "He [Trump] is saying that they are ready to have an honest negotiation with Iran. We do not believe this sentence at all and honest negotiations are unlikely for someone like Trump. Honesty can be rarely found in US' officials." "We believe that none of our problems will be solved by negotiating with the US. Americans have the most enmity that they could have against us and they are continuing with this enmity. No free nations accept negotiations under pressure," he continued. Khamenei also reassured the Japanese leader that he has no intention of seeking nuclear weapons, adding that "The one who is talking about nuclear weapons [Trump], has thousands of nuclear warheads in his depot. He has not eligible to say if a country should have nuclear weapons or not." See 360° view of World War I trenches where revolutionary sentiment simmered

02:28
Hyper-realistic reconstructions of the Russian Revolution were set up in Petrograd, now St. Petersburg, and captured in 360°, giving you the chance to relive the final days of the Tsarist state and its complete overhaul as the Empire rapidly crumbled. One such exhibition features the trenches of World War I, where Russian troops kept up the fight against Germany and Austria in harsh conditions. Many craved peace and revolutionary sentiments were soon to sweep the country. Vladimir Lenin’s Bolsheviks rose up and forced Emperor Nicolas II to abdicate before the country was reborn as Soviet Russia in 1917, but only after two bloody revolutions in February and October. Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Anjum Nabi, the wife of the first publicly identified victim Daoud Nabi, spoke to the press as she waited for news about her husband on Friday, moments after the deadly mosque shootings which left a total of 49 people dead and a further 48 wounded. Anjum said that her husband was "a very kind person" who would come to the mosque every day. She noted that her husband was a “member of the mosque" and that he had "built the mosque with other people." Nabi's wife said that she had planned to go to the mosque with her husband in the morning; however, he went ahead of her as he was running late. Anjum recounted, "My son, he [rang] me, [saying], 'Somebody [shot in] the mosque, the people, somebody [shot] the people.'" She said that she did not know what had happened since her husband "didn't answer" the phone when she called him following the incident. 71-year old Nabi, originally from Afghanistan, was among the 49 people killed in the shootings. Nationals of India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Somalia and Syria are also believed to be among the dead. The first report of an attack came from Masjid Al Noor Mosque during Friday prayers. The gunman then drove to the nearby Linwood Islamic Centre, where the second shooting occurred. The main suspect, 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant, appeared in court on Saturday and was charged with murder. Two more individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack. France: Police fire tear gas as Yellow Vests march for 21st straight week

03:23
Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Thousands of Yellow Vests protesters marched through the streets of Paris on Saturday for the 21st week in a row. Police dressed in riot gear fired tear gas to disperse the large crowds. Protesters were banned from marching on the iconic Champs-Elysees avenue, instead gathering initially at the Place de la Republique before marching to the central business district. The demonstrations are being held against French President Emmanuel Macron's economic policies, and organisers said the protests will continue throughout April, alternating between Paris and other large cities. On Thursday the Constitutional Court of France ruled that 'named individuals' could not be banned from taking part in protests as this gave French officials 'excessive latitude' over citizens.
